Buhid script

The Buhid script is an ancient writing system used by the Buhid people of the Philippines. It is a complex system that consists of 16 consonants and 10 vowels, with a unique set of diacritical marks that indicate the tone and pitch of the written language. Despite its historical significance, the Buhid script is considered an endangered language, with only a few fluent speakers remaining. Efforts are being made to document and preserve the language, including the development of an alphabetical script and language education programs.
